turn down the volume.

my awesome therapist gave me this great piece of advice, and, on this beautiful Monday – the start of the week, the first day of the rest of your life – I pass it on to you 🙂

turn down the volume.

Watch your life like a silent movie – are your actions representing what you want to be, what your goals are, where you want to be going, who you tell everyone you are, what you tell everyone you are doing?

If you remove all the talking, all the excuses, all the explaining, all the meaningful or not-so-meaningful conversations – what do things look like?

are you walking your talk?

Spend today with the volume down – focus on what you are doing, not what you are saying, not what you are telling yourself – watch your every move, watch your actions, your reactions…take notes on the incongruous!

this is an incredibly eye-opening exercise for me – maybe you will have the same experience 🙂

let me know how it goes!
