this will be a short post – poignant and insightful, of course, but short. 🙂
My recent workout partner/trainer is a former pro boxer – we meet several times a week in the park where he kills me for 90 minutes, and encourages me to get up early (to run), get good sleep (to prepare for running/ass kicking), eat good food (to stay energized for running and ass-kicking), and drink lots of water (guess the reasons).
Every day he asks – “Are you ready?”
and then he gets to my favorite part, which I share with you tonight:
“Remember, if you stay ready, you never have to get ready.”
i. love. this.
discipline, my lovelies. You don’t need to make huge moves to make huge strides – just do the daily, small things that keep you in the game and headed for your goal, and you will never have to do the heavy lifting of overhauling your life/habits/choices to get ready. Just stay ready, every day, and let the good stuff roll in 🙂
